Chart Recorder Hydrotest Test Pump System

Overview
A Chart Recorder Hydrotest System is used for hydrostatic pressure testing of pipes, vessels, valves, and other pressure-containing equipment.
The system combines a high-pressure test pump with a chart recorder to both apply and accurately record the test pressure for compliance and certification.

  • ? Key Components
    1. Hydrotest Pump
    * Type: Hand-operated / Electric / Diesel-driven Plunger Pump
    * Pressure Range: Up to 1000 Kg/cm²
    * Flow Rate: Up to 30,000 LPH
    * Materials: SS316 / SS304 / Alloy Steel

    2. Chart Recorder
    * Mechanical or Digital (paper chart or electronic log)
    * Records pressure vs. time during testing
    * Range: As per pump rating (commonly 0–700 Kg/cm²)
    * Accuracy: ±1% FSD

    3. Accessories & Safety
    * Pressure Relief Valve
    * Pulsation Dampener
    * High-pressure Hose & Fittings
    * Pressure Gauges (Calibration certified)
    * Test Manifold with Isolation Valves

    ? Working Principle
    1. The test pump pressurizes the system with water (or another test fluid).
    2. The chart recorder continuously monitors and documents the pressure applied.
    3. Pressure is held for a specified period (as per test standard: ASME, API, IS, etc.).
    4. The recorder provides traceable proof of the test for inspection & certification.

    ? Applications
    * Pipeline Hydrotesting
    * Boiler & Pressure Vessel Testing
    * Valve & Fitting Testing
    * Oil & Gas Equipment Qualification
    * Power Plant & Refinery Components
